We have 22 chicks!!!!! And we can't even begin to tell you how excited we are! Right now the chicks are getting used to their brooder (we still have a few in the incubator)! Pictures will be up by the end of the day...

Oh my gracious...

Well we had a chick boom last night!! All the chicks waited for us to go home to hatch...when we got to school this morning there were 19 chicks in our incubator...and MORE are hatching...stay tuned for more pictures AND the name winners!

Welcome McNugget (brown) and congrats to Room 12 at the East Henrietta campus for picking his name and welcome Alfalfa (yellow) and congrats to Maryellen, Social worker at Mary Cariola for picking his name :-)

We had one chick in our incubator when we arrived at school this morning...and then when we were completing our morning routines...another one hatched!!! Stayed tuned for more!

It's almost that time...

Today we made announcements about the arrival of our chicks...don't get too excited though, they aren't here yet! We just wanted to have all of our signs ready so that when they do hatch, we can hang the signs up around the school so everyone knows to come visit. We had a lot of fun using our creativity - even the teachers made signs! Check out our pictures below and remember...if you see these signs hanging up that means our chicks have hatched!
