Name that chicken

This is everyone's favorite part of the hatch process! We will accept names from anyone who would like to participate. We sent out flyers to the classrooms in our building and the other building on our campus but that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to suggest names! If you think you have a good name for one of our chickens...comment on this post, leave your name and a way to contact you (whether you are a classroom at Elmwood or you have an email address we can reach you at). If your name wins, you will get a prize. Here is how it works....

• We will be accepting names until next Wednesday 5/15/13 until 3:30
• On Thursday 5/16/13 a poll will be opened up on the blog with the TOP 24 names
• Everyone will be able to vote, voting doesn't close until the last chick has hatched
• The name with the MOST votes will go to the first chick hatched, the name with the second highest number of votes will go to the second chick hatched...etc...etc...
• If we only have 12 chicks hatch, only 12 names will win...but if we have all 24 that means everyone is a winner!
• There are prizes for everyone but the TOP 5 will get an extra bonus prize (assuming we have at least 5 chicks that hatch)

So this time is now...get your name suggestions in...and remember...BE CREATIVE! The more creative the name, the more likely chance it will have of making it on our list!
